Daytime Ladies - 1230-230pm
The Idylwylde Day Ladies is an active and dynamic group of female curlers who enjoy the camaraderie and share a love for the sport of curling. We curl twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday at 12:30 and members can choose to play only on Tuesday or Thursday or both days. Women join this league individually (you don`t have to a team already made up) and are then placed on a team. Players are assigned to a different team each draw with the goal of playing with new team members and meeting more people. The season consists of a series of 3 draws each lasting 6 to 7 weeks (one draw before Christmas and two draws after Christmas). There is some flexibility as to whether members play the whole season or only part of the season (e.g. snowbirds can choose to only play before Christmas).
At the beginning of the season which starts in mid-October, the Day Women will run a number of coaching clinics and fun days to provide skills development for new and not so new curlers. Members are encouraged to invite other women who are interested in trying out the sport of curling. There will be opportunities to learn about the delivery of the rock, sweeping and strategy and to practice these skills in some fun games.
In addition to the above, there are bonspiels to play, opening, closing and Christmas dinners to attend, and lots of great socializing after each game.
All Sorts Competitive - 6-8pm & 9-11pm
The "All Sorts" League offers teams of any combination of players: Men & Women, Competitive Juniors & Intermediates, LU Varsity, Senior Men & Women, Masters and Mixed Teams, the opportunity to hone their skills. It is open to teams preparing for playdowns or Dominion Club Championship and to Club teams looking for challenging games.
Southend Pensioners - 930-1130am & 1230-230pm
The South End Pensioner’s League is a great opportunity for all levels of players to come out and enjoy a game of curling and associated comradeship.
Draws are Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and from 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. (BOTH OPEN)
There are no set teams. The teams are set-up weekly, shortly before game time from those who are in attendance. Thus, there is no commitment to a team for those who like to curl regularly but also have out of town or other obligations from time to time, including the Snowbirds who frequently return just in time for the Closing Bonspiel.

Idylwylde Curling Club`s Mission statement of Little Rocks Program is to provide a suitable environment for each child/participant to develop to their full potential in the sport of curling. Little Rocks curling is for anyone 5-11 years of age as of October 1st of the winter season. Each session combines short lessons and funspiel games to help kids learn the basics of curling in a relaxing atmosphere. The program is designed to prepare children for the Junior Curling Program and to introduce them to a sport they can play throughout their life. Registration is limited to 40 children per season. We encourage parents and guardians who are curlers to get involved in the lessons to ensure sufficient instruction for each level.
