Application for Membership

Membership applications are available at the Club Office. When submitted for consideration, the completed form must be accompanied by payment covering all appropriate dues. Applications will be considered by the Board of Directors at its regular monthly meeting.

Initiation Fees

All new golfing members pay an initiation fee. This is a non-refundable, once-in-a-lifetime fee - the fee may be deferred over a number of years, as described below.

Share Purchase

All eligible members are encouraged to purchase a share in the Company (a requirement for golfing members). It should be noted that only individuals 18 years of age and over may own a share, and that an individual may own only one share. A share may not be owned by a business or corporation. Ownership of a share carries with it a preferred annual membership fee and a vote at all shareholders' meetings. Shareholder members may sponsor or second new members. The purchase of a share may be deferred over a period of time as described below.

Deferred Payment Plan

This plan allows new members to pay the initiation fee and share purchase by way of annual payments (including an administration fee). Membership fees may not be deferred and must be paid in full for the season prior to membership privileges being extended. Complete details of the plan are available at the Club office.

Waiting Lists

If the cap in a membership category has been met, a waiting list will be established. Persons wishing to place their name on a waiting list pay a deposit which will be applied to their membership fee when they join the Club.

Chit System and Minimum Billing

Members may sign a chit or pay in cash for all goods and services available in the Clubhouse and Pro Shop. Statements are prepared and sent out monthly with payment due upon receipt of the statement.

Each adult member of the Club is required to spend an established minimum amount in the twelve month period from November 1 to October 31. This minimum applies only to foods and beverages purchased by chit. Unspent amounts are billed on the statement dated October 31.

Leaves of Absence

Golfing members may request a leave of absence for one year. All requests for leaves must be in writing, clearly stating the reason for the request and will be considered by the Membership Committee which will make recommendations to the Board of Directors at its next meeting. Complete details of the Leave of Absence policy are available at the Club office.

Resignation

Any member shall be at liberty to resign from the Club by notifying the Manager. Upon resignation, all fees, dues and accounts are payable in full.
