2010 Golf Season Update
The course opened for golf on April 17th and that is the earliest in recent memory!! Not only did it open early but it opened with little to no winter damage and all 18 greens were open to play. The course is playing to mid-summer form and we are looking forward to a great golfing season. We have to thank Superintendent Jay Sisko and his crew for putting the course to bed properly and we also have to thank Mother Nature for doing her part as well!!
The Idylwylde Golf & Country Club was proud to have hosted the Men's Ontario Amateur Championship July 5-9, 2010. We would like to congratulate Corey Connors on winning the title in a 2-hole playoff against Matt Hoffman and setting a new Idylwylde course record 7-under par 65!

CLUBHOUSE FOODSERVICE
The Club’s new Chef Rick McCutcheon is in place and has developed a new menu for all to enjoy. Our members and guest are encouraged to enjoy a meal while viewing the scenery from the clubhouse or patio. For reservations contact the club at 522-8580 Ext # 221.

GOLFING MEMBERS SERVICE
Members - View or Update Your Handicaps on the Internet and check course conditions
Log onto "www.ehandicap.net" or click on: Members Golf Handicap Updates
You will need the Club Course name (please contact the Club), your surname and password to view, update or make
changes to your golfing handicap - this allows you to keep your scores up to date all year round without having to
use the Club computer.

A new members golfing service is now available-Golf Course Conditions Hotline-(705)522-8580 ext 250! This will provide daily updates to course conditions (cart rule of the day, horticultural practices, and course closures or delays - frost, rain - and so on). Make sure to use this service, and reduce calls to the Pro Shop. For tee time bookings, after ballots have been drawn - 523-1006.
