Course

Tee times are managed by way of a ballot system to ensure fairness to all members and groups. Ballots may be entered up to one week prior to the desired tee time, with the draw for times taking place four days, and posted three days, before the requested time. Tee times that have not been booked by the time the ballot results are posted may be requested verbally by telephoning the Pro Shop at 705-523-1006, or in person. When golfing and using the Club, members and guests are required to observe the Dress Code, as described below:

ACCEPTABLE ATTIRE:

  1. MEN: sweaters, slacks, shorts (cut to a maximum of 4" above the knee), collared golf shirts, mock or turtle neck shirts (tucked in).
  2. WOMEN: slacks, sweaters, skirts or shorts (cut to a maximum of 4" above the knee), shirts with collars/sleeves or both.
  3. JUNIORS: must obey the "Dress Code". Parents are responsible for their child's adherence to the Club's "Dress Code". No "Skate Board" shorts allowed.

All golfers will wear golf shoes (spikeless or soft spikes) and rain wear suitable to the sport of golf.

UNACCEPTABLE ATTIRE:

YARDAGE MARKERS AND PIN PLACEMENTS:

The Idylwylde Golf and Country Club has 100 and 150 yard markers in the middle of the fairways. Sprinkler heads are marked to the center of the greens. All yardages are to the center of the greens. The Club operates power carts under two policies: scatter and cart paths only. "Cart path only" days will be posted on applicable tees.
