The Idylwylde boasts one of the most modern curling facilities in Northern Ontario. Five sheets of ice are available to members throughout the season, which runs from early October to early April. The Club has hosted and continues to host many prestigious events and regularly sends representatives to provincial and national championships.
Members may choose from a wide variety of curling leagues and activities including men's curling, ladies' curling, mixed curling, junior curling and little rock curling.
Adult curling members are provided with a locker for their use during the curling season and have access to all of the locker room facilities, including showers and saunas.

The various leagues are currently working on preparing their own individual websites. As these are prepared, links will be posted.

Please note: Northern Ontario Curling Association (NOCA) fee of $15.00 per curler and League Prize Fees are IN ADDITION TO the above fees.
Curling Services
In addition to membership in the various curling leagues, additional activities over and above league play are available. There is a Mixed Curling League on Friday evening. The Friday League has draws at 6:45pm and 9pm. Schedules are arranged at the beginning of each season. For league contact information, please Lynn Dixon.
The Junior Program runs on Sundays, with the older children (13+) curling until 2:30 pm, and the "Little Rocks" curling until 5pm. There is also practice time for the Juniors on Friday afternoons. Please check the curling calendar by clicking on the "Calendar" selection above for confirmed dates and times.
The Idylwylde also makes ice time available for outside Bonspiels where the time is available. Click on Idylwylde Curling. to check for available dates.
Ice Rental rates are noted below:
Ice Rental Rates 2011-2012:
For groups of 8 or less, the rate is $13.00 per person for a 2-hour game.
Bonspiel Rates:
Regular hours: Monday to Friday 5:00 pm to 12:00 midnight; Saturday, Sunday and holidays all day:
$82.00 per sheet for the first two hours.
$18.00 per sheet for each additional hour.
Off hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm:
$59.50 per sheet for the first two hours.
$14.00 per hour for each additional hour.
Note: For bonspiels that are longer than one day, the $82.00 rate only applies to the first day's rate.
H.S.T. is applicable to all of the above rates. Prices are subject to change.
Food and Beverage arrangements can be made for your Bonspiel, for large or small groups.
